Why we ran this trial
Most consumer-grade dental claims in the canine supplement market rest on green-tea extract, kelp, or parsley. These ingredients freshen breath cosmetically but do nothing to shift the oral microbiome that drives plaque biofilm formation. We wanted to know whether a product category that does target the oral microbiome — namely postbiotics — would show up differently in an owner-graded protocol.

The protocol: 7 dogs, 8 weeks, weekly logs
Recruitment came from our reader panel and two partner clinics. Inclusion criteria: dogs between 2 and 9 years, no professional dental cleaning within 6 months of start, no antibiotic use within 30 days, no existing periodontal disease diagnosed by a veterinarian. Scoring methods

What the verification visit confirmed
